The reports included in this study examine the volume and value of tourism in 2024, as well as the impact of visitor expenditure on the built up areas of Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington.

The town level reports are based on built up area geographies, which reflect the physical, developed extent of each town. For this study, we used postcodes within the defined built up areas of Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington. Using postcodes allows these areas to be consistently matched to other datasets, including eligible tourism product (hotels, B&Bs, self catering, etc.) via their postal addresses.
